An Open Letter to God
Dear God,
There is lot happening around us at this moment. As Odisha and West Bengal were impacted by Super Cyclone Amphan, Mumbai is waiting for its turn for Cyclone Nisarga. Millions of people have already lost their livelihood due to Corona. Millions are walking on the road without food and water. People are stuck at home due to lockdown. Elderly staying alone are not able to meet their family. Many people are suffering from anxiety and depression. Locust attack is giving a tough time to the farmers. China is getting its military force to barge into Indian territory. And there is more such news in India. It’s complete chaos at this moment.
USA is witnessing social uproar and that has largely impacted peace and harmony. The Corona pandemic has already created mayhem in the country leaving more than 100,000 people dead.
God, I hope you are with me so far. What’s going on God? What’s your plan for this year?
I know you won’t be happy seeing the people fighting among themselves where they should have been taking combined effort for fighting Corona. I think you are not just sad, rather you are really angry and frustrated with humans. I ask for your forgiveness and I hope humans will learn from this tough time and become better flag bearers of your creation.
